What can i say about Doreen?
I had the pleasure of knowing Doreen for about 20 years, for 17 of those she was my mother in law. Doreen left behind her husband of 45 years David, daughters Debbie and Tracey and her son (my husband) Carl.
She had 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sadly she was only 66 when she died after battling cancer for only a short time. She was muched loved by everyone and had many friends and family around her from all over including Islington where she grew up, Dagenham where she spent most of her life and Clacton on Sea where she spent the last couple of years of her life. She loved to be by the sea and right on the seafront aswell i might add! much to the dismay of us when we visited her as it was Freezing this time of year haha.
Doreen died on 15th November 2007 after a short stay in hospital which came as a great shock to us all as we were not aware of her illness until shortly before her death, but we now respect her wishes and hope she was pleased with her send off. Many friends and family came to say goodbye and she will be sadly missed.

Hi nan happy birthday 4 yesturday hope u & gramps r looking after each other miss u & love u loads they say the pain gets easier as life goes on but im still waiting theres not a day goes by that i dont think bout u both our babies r all getting big now its so scary time just flys i no it must have been hard 4 u & gramps where sarah & me didn't see eye 2 eye but i think u be proud of us now we shouldn't have left it so long without talking u always said we should get a long & yes u was right jack & jake always follow each other around & always ask 4 each other they get on so well ellie & kacey r the same they see a picture of u the other day & ellie said who's that? sarah & me said thats nanny she would have loved u girls so much she's a special lady its a shame u didnt get 2 c us the way we r now cos u would have loved it u would be laughing all day long wiv ellie & kacey they r so funny better go now love u always n forever x x x x x x x
